Keep It Simple Software Ltd is excited to unveil the new Kiss Job Costing Software, tailored specifically for small manufacturing companies.
Cogent Job Costing Software consists of five integrated modules, accounting, sales order processing, purchase order processing, inventory and job costing that work together seamlessly. You can choose to store data in either an access database or a Microsoft SQL server database and the program is available in 32-bit or 64-bit versions.
You can leave the databases open or password-protect them to enjoy unfettered access to your data. By placing the system data on your network, Cogent Job Costing fully enables multi-user access. Keep in mind that the database encrypts confidential information, such as passwords.
Cogent Job Costing Software allows you up to 600 transactions free which will allow you to evaluate the product or may even suffice your needs.
We also provide the K39Scanner, a scanning client that you can deploy on remote PCs in your factory for collecting data on time spent on jobs. Your employees simply need to scan their User-ID, Task-ID, and Job-ID to log their activities directly into the database.
Accounting Module.
This system includes the Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Purchase Register, Cash Book, Nominal Ledger, and VAT. It handles both standard and cash accounting VAT and comes with a report editor for creating and editing reports. Plus, you can send various reports straight to Microsoft Outlook.
Sales Documents.
Sales Order Processing lets you create Tenders, Quotations, Orders, Jobs, Delivery Notes, and Invoices with ease. You can generate documents straight from their parent documents, saving time and minimizing errors. For example, creating a sales invoice from a sales order is as simple as entering the order number and invoice date. Plus, you can personalize all documents to fit your needs, like adding your own logo.
Purchase Order Processing.
Purchase Order Processing lets you create Requisitions, Allocations, and Purchase Orders with ease. You can generate documents straight from their parent documents, saving time and reducing errors. Plus, you can customize all documents to suit your needs by adding your logo.
Inventory.
Inventory lets you manage purchase and stock items effortlessly. You can create stock transactions from purchase orders and issues, giving you up-to-date stock information in real time.
Job Costing.
Sales jobs are generated from a sales order, which can contain multiple jobs. Materials used for a job are priced and recorded either through direct issue or by creating a Goods Receipt Note (GRN) if specified in the Purchase Order. Labour times can be tracked using the scanning tool or manually entered from timesheets. You can also generate a summary to display the profit or loss for each job.
